So it seems pretty difficult to get a job in Brisbane right now based on the fact that there are often people asking for help finding jobs in this subreddit. I am definitely having trouble finding another job. I currently do have a part-time job but I would like to find a better job because the one I have now does not give me enough hours/pay to be able to support myself so I still live with my parents and I desperately want to move out. I am 21, a full time uni student so I can only work about 15 hours a week. I have 3 years of experience working in food service (a drink store). The place I work at now is the first and only job I’ve ever had and the only reason I got the job was because I had a distant connection to the owners.
