Not just a ‘I need a job, anything going?’ post however. I’m a 22 year old English guy who recently moved to Brisbane and have been looking for work daily, applying to anything and everything I think I could get hired for. I’ve mainly used Gumtree/Indeed/Seek but have had luck so far, barely even receiving replies. I feel as if my CV is pretty solid: I have a degree, consistent work history stretching back 5 years across retail, bar work, wait staff, a loan underwriter and also being a research associate. Realistically, I don’t mind which line of work I get into, I’m just eager to start working in general.
