Over the past decade traffic has increasingly become worse and it is obviously due to a large increase in population. One would think more cars on the road would lead to cheaper rego, however it goes up every other year. They keep building more and more houses and developing large areas of land, which in turn generates them a huge income. Some of the main roads have had very little spent on them in comparison to the increase in traffic. 5 years ago my 20 minute trip home has become 40+. It isn’t getting any shorter either, as time progresses everything is getting more expensive. Tolls, rego and fuel. I understand some people spend 1-2 hours on the road. In 5 years time that can be 50% more, who knows. I know it won’t be less. The worse the traffic, the higher the house value prices closer to the city,
