Smokers more likely to develop skin cancer, QIMR Berghofer research finds

Smokers are two-and-a-half times more likely to develop a squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) than non-smokers, regardless of how long they’ve smoked, scientists from the Brisbane-based QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute find.
