My parent, younger brother and my self both got an electric shock by this light switch. According to Energex, the Problem was A screw that isn’t permitted to hold up light switches (circa 2008) was used, and has poked through the Insulation and is touching live wire. Energex reported that The screw is transmitting 240v, same current as a Downed Power-line. The light circuit has been disconnected, but all other switches stay on. This is a rental property. We believe he actually carried out the installation of the light switches, etc. When we were moving in, The “handyman” was refitting some fuses (ancient powerbox) and asked if we had any Copper around.
