Hey guys, before you read this, just wanted to clarify that Im not a licence holder but I commute on my bike everyday so I dont know all of the road rules. Only the basics to stay safe and legal. Now, I know that using phones while driving is absolutely illegal and dangerous. But what about when your vehicle is not moving? (other than being parked obviously). For example, at a traffic light, or waiting to turn left or right across the oncoming lane at an intersection? I sometimes knock on windows of cars with drivers using their phones when moving very slowly, (eg: edward street traffic lights can be a pain at peak times) and gesture to put it down but have been noticing more and more people using their phones while stationary too.
