So I’m looking at the QPS report for the Easter weekend and it’s just got some absolutely ridiculous speeding offences in it. 225 in a 100 zone, 127 in a 60 zone. Obviously this is a conscious decision to speed, not a “whoops took my eye off the speedo going down that hill” case. What makes people do things like that? Things are so dangerous to themselves and others? Do they just not care, are they just hooked on the adrenaline, do they think they’ll get away with it?
