Im a tourist to Brisbane and I just made my way returning from the Surfers Paradise to Brisbane via train. What caught my attention was that there seemed to be more police and security in the train and the stations. I have seen more than 10 policemen on my way home. (3+1dog on platform in surfers paradise; 2 on train; 6 or more in central brisbane) And the announcement in central says the last two services may be cancelled due to security reason. I am from Sydney and i don’t know if its normal to have so much police force here at a Saturday night.
