Hi team. I’ve been managing a pub-style bar and restaurant in Brisbane for the last few years and have noticed a curious thing. We pride ourselves on our service experience and the quality of food for low prices, so we rarely get any kind of formal complaint. I have noticed though, that whenever we do, it is a family of bogans from rural Ipswich or rural Toowoomba. I have no real idea why this is, but it strikes me as a bit fucking rich for us “latte sipping city dwellers” to have the reputation as being fussy, entitled and demanding when the opposite appears to be true. Don’t get me wrong, I love country folks. Nobody has a laugh better than my mates from Mackay and Mt Isa, and I know that there are certainly some entitled pricks that live in the city, but I’m wondering if anyone else has
