I know you’re watching. Perhaps you can ask the council (they never listen to us plebian rate payers) WHY some colossal moron approved construction OVER the creek for the new Broncos playing fields!? What idiot approves putting pylons and a concrete slab over a creek (thus creating a debris trap AND limiting the amount that the creek can rise) that has half of Mt Cootha draining into it? Additionally, now that the construction has been decimated halfway through by a relatively small storm, is the council going to grow a brain and halt construction until they can asses their own stupidity, or are they going to allow it to continue? One also hopes the large trees that fell due to the flood water backing up will be removed at Hutchinsons cost and not the ever suffering rate payer – who will probably also end up paying when people sue the
