Long story short, I have a performance review at work tomorrow. I’ve been there 4 months so they can theoretically just dispatch with me on the spot. I got an email today at 4pm inviting me to the meeting tomorrow with the manager and my team leader. I’m scared shitless because if I lose the job then I’m not entitled to any welfare and I have no family in Australia. I have limited savings. If I’m still in probation, I have no rights, right? Their issues are with my performance in general but I feel like I can really address these if they give me the chance. The email also said I could bring one support person with me if I wish, which leads me to think my head is on the executioner’s block.
