I’ve been playing team handball at Salisbury Super Sports for many years now. We’re currently short of girls to fill some of the teams and the centre is pretty pathetic at advertising so I’m trying to drum up some more players so I get to keep playing myself! Are there any females who want to come and give it a go? I can easily get you a free game or two to try it out. We play Monday nights and there are teams looking for girls for tonight (or any other Monday night). We’re a very friendly comp and it’s simple to pick up. Just need to be able to run, catch and pass. We’ve altered the rules so it’s not identical to the Olympic sport. There’s a lot less contact than the real thing (less than basketball in my opinion).
