I work in Bracken Ridge and started my search in Strathpine and worked my way up through North Lakes, Narangba, Deception Bay, Burpengary and beyond. Despite being told “you need to live further away from the city” I still can’t find anywhere affordable. The weekly rent for a unit in Caboolture is comparable to Nundah… but I get an extra bedroom I don’t need. So far the only realistic options I have are share houses (god forbid) or moving back home.
