What are the rights of people proselytising religion on street corners?

There’s currently a dude with an amp and mic outside the 7-Eleven on the corners of Adelaide and Edward barking about how grand Christianity is and handing out papers, which got me wondering this. What are his rights? Obviously, there’s so often the handful of guys in KGS holding a bible and telling all us heathens how we’re going to hell, or the guy in Queen St Mall of a nighttime who gets on his little soapbox and has his handouts there and they never seem to have problems. Is there anything against having audio equipment there as well? It’s just something I’ve never seen before. submitted by /u/SocialRegular [link] [comments]
