So the man with an NBN van visited my house on Friday, and I’m now ~NBN Ready~. Trouble is, it’s about 4m of cable that runs from the Telstra pit near my driveway to my front door, and it’s HFC. I’m curious to know of people’s experiences with HFC NBN so far, how it compares to ADSL2+, and what sort of speeds are achievable (I know it’s heavily dependant on a lot of factors, but still).
