Hi all I’m one of the Greeters on the Brisbane Greeters program and would like to give a shout-out to this wonderful service. Brisbane Greeters is part of the Global Greeters program and offers free walking tours of Brisbane for visitors or locals who want to learn more about the city. It is operated by Brisbance City Council and is currently rated number one out of 112 tours in Brisbane on Tripadvisor.Tours are really free and there is no donation expected at the end. In fact Greeters are not allowed to accept payment at all, though you can donate to the program to help cover running costs if you like. Guests can choose to book a “Greeter’s Choice” tour in which the Greeter chooses the route and topics he or she thinks will interest you, a “Your choice” tour based on your interests, or one of the specialised tours such
