I just moved into a new apartment in Windsor and have had untold troubles trying to secure an energy provider. After many phone calls to all different energy companies and many emails to my property manager, I’ve been informed that my apartment is “locked” in to a provider called Metered Energy Holdings. Quite frankly I think it’s fucking farcical that I can’t select my own provider, and online reviews are very negative stating it’s an overpriced and dodgy service. Other tenants in the building have informed me they use Origin (who can’t find my address!) and both the property manager and Body Corporate have failed to provide me with my meter number. The meter is in a locked cabinet I can’t access. Do I have any other options whatsover?? Any advice is greatly appreciated. submitted by /u/violently-queefing [link] [comments]
