I am a kiwi, and have visited (as part of a job offer, a week of free time to look around and a v8 Calais!!) your lovely city about three years ago and loved it. I’ve been to, and lived in all sorts of places but the time has come to pick a new proper home for the family and me and I keep coming back to Brisbane. An quick search has shown a few things, it’s probably cheaper to rent than Auckland and there seems to be quite a few jobs around that aren’t related to the boom (and bust) Australian thing. I am a engineer, hands on, specialist in stainless, hands off, expert in autodesk inventor. The wife is in upper management/operations with the local council. Also an older kid who can look after himself
