I have a hyphenated last name and I want to get it changed because I haven’t seen my dad since I was probably about 3 years old. I hate the last name it is long I’m happy to only get rid of the first part of it, another thing he got married to a person before and they combined their last names but when he left her he kept it so I feel as though I should be able to atleast get rid of the first bit (my Grandma’s last name is only the second bit of my my last name) Anyway does anyone know how I could possible get my name changed and do you think I have a fairly decent chance? submitted by /u/Insane_Speed [link] [comments]
