I’m wanting to rent a car from Budget (just a cheap one overnight) and they obviously list their prices online but I know for a fact that they put a hold on your credit card for a certain amount. I can see on their American website it’s 25% or $200 whichever is more. I guess this is held for like incidentals like if you don’t return it with a full tank of fuel etc. I was hoping someone would be able to call Budget to find out exactly how much they put on hold on your credit card for?
