Fire evac plans for highrise apartments?

This has been bugging me for a while now, so now I can bug you with it too. Does anyone know the local evacuation regulations / procedures for these new massive apartment buildings going up around the city? I work in a 37 story building, and we have compulsory evac tests through the year, as well as even more random tests of the alarm systems that we don’t need to act on – but what about say, the residents at the top of Riparian Plaza? Or that newer Meriton unit on Herschel St that’s like 74 floors tall? Heaven forbid, but if there was a significant fire on one of the lower floors what are those above it supposed to do? Surely they aren’t expected to walk down 70 odd floors of fire stairs in a timely fashion? I can’t figure out how it’s safe to live up the top
