Parents coming to Brisbane (from NZ) for the first time next month. They’ll be here on a Wed – Monday. Thinking of things to do and Hervey Bay/Fraser Island sprung to mind. I’m sure there’s a few of you here that have been to Hervey Bay, would you recommend it for a weekend away with my parents? Is it a good part of Queensland to show them? I’m trying to get my parents to move here and need to show them nice places to convince them. Is it worth the 300km distance?
