Anyway I posted this comment on the thread and through it was worth some more discussion. Jesus christ some of that food is cheap. What the fuck is Australia doing, no matter where you go here don’t expect to spend under $12 for a meal. That kid just paid £2 ($3.36 AUD/$2.50 USD) for a burger, 3 wings, and chips. I’d be lucky to get half a fucking chip for that cost here. Fuck you Australia, seriously. Edit – Going to dive a little deeper. UK minimum wage is £7.20. Australian minimum wage is $17.70. Average cost of a meal here is $12. That means I can get one and a half meals for an hour of work. UK…. 3 and a half.
