Atlético Nacional, the Colombian team that was to play Brazil’s Chapecoense in the final of the Copa Sudamericana soccer tournament this week, has asked the organisation in charge of South American soccer to award the trophy to the Brazilian club, which had nearly all of its players and coaching staff killed in a plane crash Monday night.
