Hi – I am ‘hosting’ Christmas this year for myself and two siblings – they are intra and interstate. we plan on having rumballs, gingerbread, some sort of punch/alcohol, roast chicken, a bean salad, a conventional salad (carrot, lettuce, eggs, tomato etc), prawn cocktails, roast lamb and roast ham. And pavolva. With regard to the meat (prawns, ham, lamb) when and where should I buy this to have a good selection and good quality and with the lamb a good cut – I never cook and am nervous about gettig this all together in time and to a good quality. They are doing all the cooking and I’ve done a stock take on my utensils and have enough. submitted by /u/LCCpoodle [link] [comments]
